PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the stop position of a tail end of a steel plate at a target position with a high accuracy.SOLUTION: A pressing force detection part 12 detects a pressing force which is applied onto an outer peripheral surface of a coil-formed steel plate S by a wrapper roll 4a. A control part 13 for a stop position of a tail end determines whether the pressing force detected by the pressing force detection part 12 fluctuates or not. When the pressing force fluctuates, the control part 13 determines that the tail end of the steel plate S has passed the wrapper roll 4a, and stops rotation of a mandrel 3 thereby stopping the tail end of the steel plate S at a predetermined position. Thus, the stop position of the tail end of the steel plate S can be controlled to a target position with a high accuracy. |
