PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent harmonic current component of high-current value from being generated in controlling power to be supplied to a resistance heating layer by phase control of AC power.SOLUTION: A power supply control part executes phase control, which gradually increases on-duty ratio until target power is supplied when supplying AC power, which is to be supplied from a commercial AC power source to a power supply unit, to a resistance heating layer of a fixing belt. When the on-duty ratio falls within a harmonic suppression range including 50%, an increase range of the on-duty ratio is set to 10% (step S16), so as to be larger than an increase range (5%) of the on-duty ratio which is out of the harmonic suppression range. |
