Organopolysiloxane composition curable to vulcanizates with relative permittivity of at least 6, and onset temperature of greater than 80[deg] C, comprises: either (a) compounds with residues exhibiting aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds, (b) organopolysiloxane exhibiting silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms, or; (c) organopolysiloxanes exhibiting silicon-carbide-bonded residues with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds and silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms; (d) mineral reinforcing filler; (e) carbon black, and (f) thermally activated catalyst exhibiting compounds of platinum metals. Organopolysiloxane composition curable to vulcanizates with relative permittivity of at least 6, measured according to IEC 60250, and onset temperature of greater than 80[deg] C, comprises (in parts by wt.): either (a) compounds having residues exhibiting aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds (100), (b) organopolysiloxane exhibiting silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms (0.1-50); or (c) organopolysiloxanes exhibiting silicon-carbide-bonded residues with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds and silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms (100); (d) reinforcing mineral filler with Brunauer, Emmett, Teller surface area of at least 50 m 2>/g according to DIN EN ISO 9277(10-100); (e) carbon black with Brunauer, Emmett, Teller surface of 5-1100 m 2>/g according to ASTM D 6556and an oil adsorption number of 10-500 ml/100 g according to ASTM D 2414(4-300), and; (f) thermally activated catalyst exhibiting compounds of platinum metals containing platinum, protactinium, rhodium and ruthenium, in such an amount that 0.0000001-0.01 parts by weight of platinum metal is present in the organopolysiloxane composition. |
