发明名称 Improvements relating to winding frames
摘要
1,121,041. Builder motions. WHITIN MACHINE WORKS Inc. 9 Nov., 1965 [9 Nov., 1964 (3)], No. 47550/65. Heading D1D. In a machine for winding filamentary material on a bobbin 30 by a guide, such as a flyer 16, which rotates about the bobbin a pneumatic piston-cylinder device 42 effects the necessary adjustment of the wind-up rate, the traverse velocity and the traverse length during the build up of the package. As shown, dogs 80, 82 threaded on opposed pitch portions of a spindle 90 are reciprocated with the bobbin rail 98 to actuate a switch arm 84. At each actuation of arm 84 one clutch of a pair 106, 107 is de-energised and the other energised (see circuit of Fig. 3 not shown) to reverse the drive passing to the traverse rack 100 from the bottom cone 18 of the usual winding on variable speed arrangement. Each operation of arm 84 also actuates via the circuit of Fig. 3 a solenoid operated pneumatic valve 48 to operate the piston of device 42; this actuates a ratchet (see also Fig. 2 not shown) which, through a gear train 36 moves the rack 34 to shift belt 20 and alter the speed of the bobbin and traverse in the desired way. Drive is taken by a gear train 130 from rack 34 to rotate spindle 90' so as to change the separation of dogs 80, 82 and thus produce the desired progressive decrease in the traverse length. A motor 140 and normally open clutch 144 winds rack 34 and the associated elements back to their starting position at the end of a wind. A brake 116 normally held inoperative by electrical means brakes shaft 104 to hold the bobbin rail in position should the electricity supply fail.
