The device (1) has a continuous belt conveyor (3) transporting printed products and/or -stack e.g. booklet (2), one on the other. A pressure roller (6) with a resilient outer surface is arranged in a direction of transport of the printed products and/or -stack, and has a return barrier with respect to the direction of transport. The return barrier is formed by a freewheel. The pressure roll is adjustable on product- and/or stack thickness, and is controllable by pivoting or displacement against the printed products.
