PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow an adjustment pitch of sliding while securing sufficient lock strength in a slide device.SOLUTION: A slide device 10 includes: a lower rail 11 provided on a floor; an upper rail 12 which is provided at a vehicle seat and is assembled to the lower rail 11 so as to slide; and a lock mechanism 20 which locks sliding of the upper rail 12 relative to the lower rail 11. The lock mechanism 20 includes: a shaft rod 21 provided at the lower rail 11; and an engagement mechanism 22 which is provided at the upper rail 12 so as to engage with the shaft rod 21. The engagement mechanism 22 is pressed against an outer peripheral surface of the shaft rod 21 to be engaged therewith and locks the sliding by a frictional resistance force generated by the engagement. |
