The present invention, for a method of operating an electronic device comprising a first microphone and a second microphone, relates to an electronic device and method for stopping echo by removing sound outputted from a speaker, which comprises the steps of: judging if a sensor located in a set distance from the second microphone detects surrounding objects; stopping the operation of the second microphone if the sensor detects surrounding objects; and stopping the echo by removing the sound outputted from the speaker and inputted to the first microphone. |
