This digital holography device (100) comprises: an image capture device (10) which, on the basis of a subject (50), records in an image capture element a plurality of holograms with different exposure quantities; and a computer (20) which composites the recorded plurality of holograms with different exposure quantities, generates a high-dynamic range hologram including from low-brightness information to high-brightness information, and, on the basis of the high-dynamic range hologram, carries out a computation process such as a calculation of a phase shift interference method or diffraction, and generates a play image of the subject (50).
