A processing method and device for interaction of an Internet-of-Things application and a short message value-added service. The method includes: if it is determined that an Internet-of-Things application identifier is contained in a received message, a short message processing entity refusing to send the message to a short message value-added service platform. The method solves the problem caused by the fact that an Internet-of-Things application message is modified or redirected by a short message value-added service platform in the related art, and provides an assurance for a receiving side to receive the Internet-of-Things application message correctly in time.
