PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to experience a game before the user registers member information and to take over at least a part of a play content of the user after the registration of the member information.SOLUTION: A game system 7 generates a player ID in response to a request from a client device 3 and updates game information associated to the player ID. The game system 7 notifies the client device 3 of link information including an address for accessing to a platform server 4, and unique takeover information for taking over the game information associated with the player ID. The client device 3 accesses to the platform server 4 and executes the member registration on the basis of the link information, so that the game system 7 acquires the member ID and the takeover information generated by the platform server, and stores at least a part of the game information subject to the takeover by the takeover information, associated with the player ID corresponding to the member ID.
