PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing metal siding that has a surface material having a convexoconcave pattern thereon, to which a specific quantity of a foamable resin composition can be supplied in a just proportion, depending on a surface shape (convexoconcave pattern) of the surface material.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the metal siding having an expanded resin foam packed therein comprises the steps of: (1) supplying a certain quantity of the foamable resin composition to the surface material having the convexoconcave pattern thereon, depending on the surface shape of the surface material, by using an ink jet printing method; and (2) overlapping the surface material with a rear face material so as to pack the foamable resin composition therebetween, heating the surface material and the rear face material, and foaming the foamable resin composition to form the expanded resin foam. |
