The roof (1) has a fixed portion (2), and a movable panel (3) that is able to assume two positions relative to the fixed portion. The panel assumes a closed position in which the panel extends in a plane of the fixed portion so as to close an opening. The panel assumes an open position in which the panel is moved under the fixed portion so as to open the opening. A control unit is utilized for alignment of a surface directed towards outside of the fixed portion, and another surface that is directed towards outside of the panel when the panel is in the closed position.
