PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of limiting an active clamp operation.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device (100) comprises: a power transistor (DMNL) provided between a first signal line (L_VH) and a second signal ine (L_VL); and a first resistance circuit (11) provided between a third signal line (L_LG) to which a gate of the power transistor is connected and the second signal line. The semiconductor device further comprises: a first clamp circuit (10) whose one end is connected to the first signal line; a first switch circuit (12) connected between the other end of the first clamp circuit and the third signal line; and a control circuit (12) which controls on/off of the first switch circuit according to a control signal (ST). If a control signal is not active, the control circuit turns on the first switch circuit when a voltage of the first signal line exceeds a threshold voltage (VSON) smaller than a clamp voltage of the first clamp circuit. If the control signal is active, the control circuit turns off the first switch circuit. |
