摘要 <p>An optical measuring device (1) for measuring the shape of a tangible object (2), comprising an optical probe (3) for guiding light towards a surface (4) of the object and for receiving diffusely reflected light (8) from the surface of that object. The optical measuring device further comprising a distance measuring unit (5) for measuring a distance of the probe to the surface, and a processing unit (11) for deriving the shape of the object from the measured distance. The optical probe comprises a single mode optical fibre (6) for guiding the light towards the surface and for receiving the diffusely reflected light from the surface. The distance measuring unit comprises an interferometer (12) for measuring the optical path length between the probe and the surface of the tangible object. The optical measuring device can be applied in tooling machines for shaping lenses and mirrors, in particular freeforms, by for instance polishing.</p>
