PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the field curvature of light illuminating an illumination area.SOLUTION: An illumination device includes: a bar laser in which a plurality of emitters are arrayed; a lens array comprising a plurality of lens units arrayed in a first direction in which the emitters are arrayed; a first lens which projects a far-field image of a laser beam emitted from the bar laser, on the lens array; a second lens which projects far-field images of the laser beam divided by the lens array, over an illumination area; and a pair of lenses which form near-field images in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, of the emitted laser beam, on the illumination area. The pair of lenses includes a third lens, and the number of the plurality of lens units is set on the basis of a prescribed relation between a maximum angle which light resultant from incidence on the third lens and emission from the third lens of the emitted laser beam forms with an optical axis on a plane including the second direction and the optical axis, and the field curvature of light projected over the illumination area. |
