PURPOSE: A circular knitting machine for knitting shocks is provided to enhance dirk knitting efficiency and to obtain the knitting socks with high quality. CONSTITUTION: A circular knitting machine has actuators(600,900) of forward butt slider(610) and a reverse butt slider(910) for converting left and right. An actuator(3) for dirk knitting is mounted for forward and reverse rotation of a needle cylinder(100) around a center cam(510) in an angle of 40-30. The joint part of a toe part, the top part of a foot, and a sole par is knitted by the dirk knitting. |
