PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconducting wire rod which is made into a structure where stress does not directly act on a superconducting lamination body even when the stress occurs during cooling of the superconducting wire rod due to a thermal expansion coefficient difference of components and the deterioration is less likely to be caused.SOLUTION: According to this invention, in a superconducting wire rod, an intermediate layer, a superconducting layer, and a stabilization layer are laminated on a tape like base material to form a superconducting lamination body. The superconducting wire rod includes an insulation tape enclosing an outer periphery of the superconducting lamination body thereby forming a composite superconductor, and an insulation coating layer is formed on an outer periphery of the composite superconductor by burning a resin. |
