POWER-RECEIVING STRUCTURE FOR SHIP, POWER SUPPLY DEVICE, AND POWER SUPPLY METHOD

A power-receiving structure (10) is provided to a ship (1) and comprises: a power-receiving coil (7) that is capable of receiving power in a non-contact manner from a land-side power supply coil (5); and an outer wall surface-forming section (9) that forms the ship-side outer surface of the ship. The power-receiving coil is provided farther inside of the ship than the outer wall surface-forming section. An electromagnetic field-transmitting section (9a) made from a material that transmits an electromagnetic field is provided to the part of the outer wall surface-forming section that faces the power-receiving coil. The present invention makes it possible for the power-receiving coil to receive power in a non-contact manner from a land-side power supply coil via the electromagnetic field-transmitting section without the need for the power-receiving coil to protrude from the ship-side outer surface of the ship. Consequently, the power-receiving coil does not interfere with navigation of the ship, and there is no need to pull the power-receiving coil into the ship once the supplying of power to the ship has been completed.
