PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-safe continuous method for producing hydrogen capable of easily and continuously producing hydrogen, which is clean energy, without using ammonia as before.SOLUTION: A continuous method for producing hydrogen includes: a hydrogen production step of generating hydrogen by inputting mayenite (CaAlO) and calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)] into water to be reacted with water, and for generating katoite [CaAl(OH)]; a regeneration step of regenerating mayenite and calcium hydroxide by firing generated katoite; and a circulation step of returning the regenerated mayenite and calcium hydroxide to the hydrogen production step. Preferably, the temperature of water in the hydrogen production step is 50-100°C, and the mole ratio between mayenite and calcium hydroxide is 1:9. The firing temperature of katoite in the regeneration step is preferably 300-500°C. |
