The strip (1) has a set of band sections (2, 3), where each section comprises a set of fire-break baffles (4) of complementary forms at its ends. The fire-break baffles are arranged in a symmetrical manner. A set of end sections of each band section is arranged with a set of projecting parts and complementary hollow portions. The projecting parts and the complementary hollow portions are arranged to encase each other to form the fire-break baffles, when the band sections are placed end to end. The strip is made of glass wool and/or rockwool.
