PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method which are capable of suppressing increase of calculation quantity and enhancing calculation accuracy of an optimum solution.SOLUTION: A HEMS 200 includes: a calculation unit 240 that utilizes, as an element, an operation of a PV unit 130, a storage battery unit 140, a fuel cell unit 150, or a hot water storage unit 160, and calculates, every unit time, an optimum solution including at least one of a purchase charge of electric power supplied from a system and a sales charge of electric power provided to the system; and a creation unit 230 that creates a correlation between a calculation time and a calculation accuracy of the optimum solution, in each of unit times with different length. |
