PURPOSE: A bumper back beam using a polygonal hot forming rectangular tube beam is provided to improve energy efficiency through lightening of a vehicle by using a rectangular tube processed with hot forming with the bumper back beam. CONSTITUTION: A bumper back beam(100) using a polygonal hot forming rectangular tube beam comprises a main beam(110), a reinforcement plate(120), and a crash box(130). The polygonal hot forming rectangular tube beam of a polygonal cross section shape is vertically separated so that the main beam forms a frame of the bumper back beam. The main beam comprises an upper hot forming rectangular tube beam(110a) and a lower hot forming rectangular tube beam(110b). The upper hot forming rectangular tube beam is horizontally arranged on the upper part of the bumper back beam. The lower hot forming rectangular tube beam includes a size and a shape which are similar to the upper hot forming rectangular tube beam. The reinforcement plate vertically connects a pair of the hot forming rectangular tube beams in the front of the main beam. The crash box is connected to both ends of the main beam. The crash box absorbs shock transmitted from the bumper back beam. |
