PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance the hardening of a seal pattern. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode is formed on each pixel area. A common electrode(203) is formed on the front side of a second substrate(200). A conductive seal pattern(250) surrounds a non display area of a first substrate(100) or the second substrate. A common line pattern(101) corresponding to the conductive seal pattern is formed on the first substrate. The width of a transparent electrode pattern(113) is the same or smaller than the width of the common line pattern. |
