PURPOSE: A gathering apparatus for food garbage is provided to reduce installation charge remarkably, and to solve the problem such as odor or decay generated due to sump since the installation of the sump is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A gathering apparatus for food garbage (10) formed with a gathering hopper (12) and a final treatment device (15). A storage tank (15a) is formed in the bottom of the final treatment device. A drained water duct connected to the drain pipe (3) is formed in the storage tank. A motor pump (7) is formed in the drained water duct. The motor pump discharges water to the drain pipe in case the storage tank is filled with water over a certain water level.
