FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: monitoring device is provided with a first channel connection portion connected to a main signal channel which allows the passage of either a main signal wherein a monitor/control signal for monitoring/controlling the monitoring target device is multiplexed or a main signal wherein the monitor/control signal is not multiplexed, a second channel connection portion connected to a monitor/control signal channel which allows the passage of the monitor/control signal, and a selection unit which selects either the main signal channel or the monitor/control signal channel for transmitting/receiving the monitor/control signal. For the monitoring target device, a monitor/control device is provided with a monitor/control unit which transmits the monitor/control signal over the monitor/control signal channel when a malfunction occurs in the main signal channel, and transmits the monitor/control signal over the main signal channel when a malfunction occurs in the monitor/control signal channel.EFFECT: high reliability of monitoring means.10 cl, 8 dwg |
