PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of improving earthquake-proof performance while ensuring heat insulating performance of a hot water storage tank.SOLUTION: A storage type water heater 1 includes a molded heat insulating material (upper molded heat insulating material 41) molded into the shape covering at least a part of a hot water storage tank 2, an external packaging case 3 receiving the hot water storage tank 2 and the molded heat insulating material, and a connecting means (fixed member 6, connecting member 7) connecting the molded heat insulating material to an external supporting structure 5, and suppressing shake of the hot water storage tank 2 in earthquake. The fixed member 6 is fixed to the upper molded heat insulating material 41, and the connecting member 7 connects the fixed member 6 and the supporting structure 5. |
