PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control of a sheet feeing/conveying system while preventing a step-out phenomenon, saving power, and reducing cost.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus detects a load angle of a motor M4 associated with conveying of an n-th sheet P (where n is a natural number equal to or larger than 1). In accordance with the detected load angle, current values for motors M5 and M6 associated with conveying of the n-th sheet P, a current value for a motor M1 associated with feeding of sheets P following the n-th sheet, and a current value for a motor M2 associated with conveying of the sheets P following the n-th sheet are set. Such control is executed when powered ON or the like. |
