PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycrystalline silicon substrate for a composite solar cell and a solar cell using the same which can reduce consumption of high purity silicon material, thereby allowing substitution for a conventional solar cell manufactured from bulk silicon and reduction in the total cost.SOLUTION: A polycrystalline silicon substrate for a composite solar cell comprises a first substrate layer with the purity ranging from 2 N to 3 N, and a second substrate layer with the purity ranging from 6 N to 9 N formed on the first substrate layer. |
