<p>PURPOSE: A membrane diffuser is provided to stably maintain a high oxygen transferring rate and to improve air tightness and structural firmness. CONSTITUTION: A membrane diffuser includes a membrane(60), a body, a fixing frame(70), and a protrusion which prevents backward flow. The membrane is made of an elastic material. A plurality of diffusing holes is formed in the membrane. One or more air inlets(10) and air outlets are arranged in the body. The fixing frame fixes the membrane to the body. The protrusion prevents water from backwardly flowing by surrounding the air outlets. A contracted membrane is adjacently arranged to the protrusion to seal the air outlet. When air is supplied through the air inlets, the membrane is expanded and becomes spaced apart from the protrusion such that the air inlets are opened.</p> |
