PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing mixing extract comprised of Siberian chrysanthemum and aronia melanocarpa is provided to have antibacterial activity on gram negative bacteria, gram positive bacteria, yeast and mold and improve embalming ability through broad antimicrobial spectrum without affecting stability of formulation. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition includes mixing extract comprised of siberian chrysanthemum and aronia melanocarpa as an active ingredient. The mixing extract is mixed with extract of siberian chrysanthemum and extract of aronia melanocarpa at a volume ratio of 1:1. The extract of siberian chrysanthemum is manufactured by mixing distilled water and extracted siberian chrysanthemum. The extract of aronia melanocarpa is manufactured by mixing extracted aronia melanocarpa and at least one solvent selected from a group consisting of water, lower alcohol of C1-C4, glycerol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, ethyl acetate, benzene, hexane, diethylether and dichloromethane. In the extraction of the aronia melanocarpa, methanol or mixture of methanol and water is used as an extraction solvent.
