The transmitter (1) has a body (2) forming an air flow passage in which a heating element (16) is placed. Front and rear air deflectors (19, 13) are provided in the air flow passage on the inside of a front face (3) and a rear face (4) of the body, respectively. The front deflector deviates the air passed between the front face and the heating element towards the rear face. The rear deflector deviates the air towards the front face before it exits the body, where a section of the air flow passage is reduced by the front deflector, and constant or reduced to an air outlet (11).
