A safety protection apparatus for use in motorized transportation vehicles, comprising a support frame (1) fixedly connected to a seat (6) of the motorized transportation vehicle and a protective capsule (3) for use in accommodating an infant or a child. The top end of the protective capsule (3) is pivotally connected to the support frame (1). A shock-absorbing damper component (2) is arranged between the protective capsule (3) and the support frame (1) or the seat (6). The safety protection apparatus is adaptable to transportation vehicles such as passenger vehicles, trucks, and ships, and is applicable respectively for adults, infants, and children. The safety protection apparatus, by providing the protective capsule, protects a passenger from direct injuries caused by external forces, by providing a pivotable mechanism, buffers impacts on the passenger caused by emergency braking or collision, and, by consuming energy with the damper component, provides the recumbent infant, child, or adult with comprehensive protection. |
