<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct communication interruption due to change in the installation position of an antenna device reliably, by detecting disturbance due to earthquake or application of an external load to the antenna device from vibration, and re-acquiring the satellites after the disturbance is settled. <P>SOLUTION: The satellite acquisition method comprises: a vibration detection step of detecting vibration applied to an antenna housing in which an antenna is housed; a position change detection step of detecting position change of the antenna housing by acquiring the inclination angle of the antenna housing when a vibration equal to or higher than a predetermined value is detected during the vibration detection step, or during the vibration, and after the vibration goes below the predetermined value or is settled, and then comparing the inclination angle of the antenna housing thus acquired with the initial value of inclination angle of the antenna housing; and a re-acquisition step of re-acquiring the satellites when a determination is made that the inclination angle after position change of the antenna housing falls within a predetermined range, by detecting position change of the antenna housing in the position change detection step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
