ADAPTER COVER, ADAPTER ASSEMBLY, AND OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter cover including a lock part for locking an optical fiber connector, which can be post-mounted on an adapter having a lock mechanism of the optical fiber connector when used in an environment where a high tensile force acts on the optical fiber connector, and to provide an adapter assembly, and an optical fiber connector assembly.

SOLUTION: An adapter cover 10 is attached to an adapter 20 having a lock mechanism 25 of an optical fiber connector 40. The adapter cover 10 includes a fixing part 11 to be fixed to the adapter 20 and a lock part 14 for locking the optical fiber connector 40 fitted to the adapter 20 and locked by the lock mechanism 25. An adapter assembly 30 includes the adapter cover 10 and the adapter 20 to which the adapter cover is attached. An optical fiber connector assembly 50 includes the adapter assembly 30 and the optical fiber connector 40.
