PURPOSE: A manufacturing method and apparatus of polylactide are provided to purify polylactide while manufacturing a polylactide with an individual control method, and to effectively collect unreacted lactide. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method apparatus of polylactide(100) comprises a reaction chamber which has an outer chamber(11) and an inner chamber(12) and accommodates thermal fluid(13) between the outer and the inner chamber; an extrusion unit(20) extruding polylactide with a thread shape, formed from the inner chamber; a purification unit(30) which purifies the polylactide thread and discharges lactide-containing gas; and a polylactide thread collection unit(40) which collects the purified polylactide thread.
