<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high crime prevention property of a slave door to a master door in a steel door with the slave door, and to improve the usability of the slave door. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower rods 87 which are actuated in conjunction with rotary operation of a handle 82 on the indoor side and a key cylinder 83 on the outdoor side of a slave door 3 are made to disengageably engage with rod receivers 88 of a master door 2, and a dead bolt 89 on a door-end-side is made to disengageably engage with a lock retainer 90 of the master door 2, thus achieving a three-point locking of the slave door 3 to the master door 2. Meanwhile, hanging and supporting of the slave door 3 on the master door 2 is performed by strongly energized hinges 5 to automatically close the slave door 3, while the slave door 3 is received and held by a magnet catch 7 of the master door 2 such that a roller latch 6 installed in the slave door 3 does not come off a latch retainer 61 by a reaction. The slave door 3 exhibits an effective crime prevention property in an emergency escape by opening the slave door 3 when the master door 2 is non-openable/non-closable due to an earthquake, and the slave door 3 is prevented from being in a half-opened state for access. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
