摘要 PURPOSE: A metal-sulfur electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery is provided to remarkably improve energy density of a conducting material by continuously controlling directionality of a the conducting material, thereby improving energy density and charging and discharging cycle durability. CONSTITUTION: In a metal-sulfur electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, a binder and a conducting material which is formed of a needle-like or rod-like carbon material is coated with an electrode active material. The conducting material has directionality in one direction and has an aligned structure. The metal electrode is aluminum. The carbon material comprises a carbon nanotube, vapor grown carbon fiber, or carbon nanotubes. The binder is selected form polyvinylidenefluoride or polyvinylidenefluoride-co- hexafluoropropylene.
