The present radial rotary dryer improves drying performance for sludge or other material to be dried, prevents blockage and simplifies equipment. The present apparatus is a radial rotary dryer wherein the space formed by inner and outer drums is divided by a plurality of radiation plates. When material to be dried is placed in the inner drum, the material moves to the center and is dried by hot blowing air in the divided radial space while the drum rotates, and is then discharged to the opposite side by movement of the inner drum. The drying performance is improved by attaching a lift plate on one surface of each radiation plate, attaching a hammer on the other surface of each radiation plate in an axial direction, and crushing the material using free-fall impact energy according to the rotation of the drum. Therefore, the present invention is a radial rotary dryer which enables best drying performance, least installation space and a crushing function, that can be used for sewage sludge, food waste or multipurpose industrial drying. |
