<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of cooling according to the storage condition of substances to be stored in the inside of the refrigerator. <P>SOLUTION: A refrigerator is equipped with light sources 20a, 20b arranged in the inside of an storage compartment, an optical sensor 21 for detecting illumination light irradiated from the light sources 20a, 20b, a calculation control section 1 for calculating and processing based on the detecting result of the optical sensor 21, the optical sensor 21 is arranged so as not to face the optical axes of the light sources and does not receive direct illumination light and detects indirect illumination light including reflected light constituted by the illumination light being reflected by the wall face of the storage compartment of the substances to be stored, the calculation control section 1 estimates the accommodation ratio of the substances to be stored based on correlation data used for quantitatively estimating the storage quantity in the relation of the attenuation ratio of the detected brightness of the optical sensor 21 and the storage quantity, thereby the estimating accuracy of the storage quantity in the calculation control section can be enhanced, cooling or output control according to the storage state of the substances to be stored in the inside of the refrigerator is possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
