<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door lock device with which a door can be reliably prevented from being opened against user's will in the case of impact or the like and reduction in durability can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicular door lock device 1, one of an open lever 88, 89 and a control lever 20 includes an inertia lever 30 which can be pivoted about a pivot X1 which extends in a direction orthogonal to the direction of backward/forward movement to an opening 9, and which is pivoted from a first position to a second position by an inertia force F1 exceeding a preset value acting thereon. At the first position, the inertia lever 30 avoids abutment with a housing 80 and abutment with the other of the open lever 88, 89 and the control lever 20. At the second position, on the other hand, the inertia lever 30 is abutted with the housing 80 or abutted with the other of the open lever 88, 89 and the control lever 20 and restricts at least one of the open lever 88, 89 and the control lever 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
