A method is provided of enabling association of an object with a surface. In the method a server receives an image of the surface captured with an image sensor of a mobile device networked with the server, receives a request to associate a selected object with the captured image, receives specification of a location on the surface with which the selected object is to be associated, and associates the selected object with the specified location of the captured image of the surface.
