<p>Embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus and a method for remote control. Specifically, disclosed is a processing device used in combination with a remote control apparatus. The remote control apparatus is used for remotely controlling at least one target apparatus. The processing device comprises: a touch processing device, configured to generate a control signal for the target apparatus according to a gesture input that a user provides for the remote control apparatus; and a non-touch processing device, configured to generate a control signal for the target apparatus according to a non-gesture input that the user provides for the remote control apparatus, the control signal being sent by the remote control apparatus to the target apparatus. Also disclosed are a corresponding remote control apparatus and method. According to the embodiments of the present invention, remote control over the remote apparatus is more effective, natural and accurate.</p> |
