<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharging device capable of preventing an unusual sound from occurring without increasing the production cost and sacrificing the capability of discharging a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 1 includes a shaft supporting means 30 disposed between a device body 10 and a sheet-pressing member 17. The shaft supporting means 30 supports the sheet-pressing member 17 on the device body 10 in a manner that allows the same to swing in a swing range from an upper swing end U disposed above the upper edge of a discharge port 20a to a lower swing end D disposed below the lower edge of the discharge port 20a. The shaft supporting means 30 includes swing shafts 31a, 31b each formed on the sheet-pressing member 17 and shaft holding holes 41a, 41b each formed on the housing 20 of the device body 10 to support the swing shafts 31a, 31b respectively in a manner allowing the same to swing. Gaps formed diametrically between the swing shafts 31a, 31b and the shaft holding holes 41a, 41b are made broader if the sheet-pressing member 17 is present in the vicinity of the central area of the discharge port 20a or are made narrower as the sheet-pressing member 17 approaches the upper swing end U or the lower swing end D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
