<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint and a method for manufacturing the constant velocity joint allowing a connecting shaft member to be inserted in a cylindrical shaft part of an outer ring without forming a tooth lacking part at a female spline or detaching a seal member from the outer ring. <P>SOLUTION: The seal member 130 partitioning an internal region of a cup part 21 of the outer ring 20 from an internal region of the cylindrical shaft part 22 is inserted from the opposite side to the cup part 21 of the cylindrical shaft part 22 to block a communicating hole 23. The seal member 130 includes a male spline part 131 fittable to the female spline 22a of the cylindrical shaft part 22 of the outer ring 20 and relatively movable in an axial direction, and a sealing surface 132a for blocking the communicating hole 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
