<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the utilization efficiency of a waste liquid tank is inefficient. <P>SOLUTION: A waste liquid tank 101 that accommodates the waste liquid of the liquid discharged from a recording head that has a nozzle to discharge the liquid droplet, has a sealed structure in which a waste liquid introduction space 114 that is detachably connected to one end of the tank longitudinal direction at the waste liquid ejection end side is provided, and an atmosphere communication port 116 that communicates the tank inside and outside is provided at the top face of the other end side of the tank longitudinal direction. In the waste liquid tank 101, the absorbing member 113 that absorbs the waste liquid is accommodated, and at the part where the waste liquid is introduced, the space 114 that has no absorbing member 113 is provided, and at the lower side of the space 114 that has no absorbing member 113 at the part where the waste liquid is introduced, the absorbing member 113 is disposed. At the part corresponding to the atmosphere communication port 116 of the absorbing member 113, there is provided the space 115 where there is no absorbing member 113 so that the space may penetrate the absorbing member 113 in vertical direction from the communication port 116 to the height not to reach to the bottom face of the waste liquid tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
