<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that prevents the generation of bad odor. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine is provided with a drain hose H that has an inner face 42 of the hose, which is formed to be flat in a lengthwise direction, and an outer face 41 of the hose, which has uneven shapes formed so as to range in a lengthwise direction. Accordingly, the drain hose H prevents washing water and the like from accumulating at the inner face 42 of the hose, which is a feature different from a conventional hose, and thereby prevents film-like dirt including detergent scum, fatty acid and various bacteria and the like from being easily formed at the inner face 42 of the hose. In addition, if dirt is deposited on the inner face 42 of the hose, the dirt is easily removed by water flow of washing water and the like at the time of drainage.
