PURPOSE: A sports game betting service providing system and method are provided to determine distribution points for a user based on location information of a mobile terminal, thereby inducing the participation of the user for a sports game. CONSTITUTION: When a betting program is executed, a mobile terminal(200) transmits inputted user information to a content server(800). When a user selects a betting item, the mobile terminal transmits betting information to the content server. The content server requests a charging process for added betting points to a mobile communication network(100). The content server calculates distribution points of being distributed to the user based on collected game results and the location information of the mobile terminal. The content server distributes the distribution points corresponding to a game result.
