<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift device that can move a selector lever over such an efficient long moving path as one in which a comfortable transmission feeling can be attained when a shift lock is released. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a gear shift device 100 including a selector lever 2 that can be moved under a state in which it can be moved between at least two transmission gates and a shift lock 5 used for shutting off a moving path of the selector lever being moved from one shift position to the other shift position in regard to one of the transmission gates, wherein a lock member 110 is mechanically connected to the selector lever 2, the shift lock 5 can be made effective and/or null by the lock member 110 and the lock member 110 can be loaded into or unloaded out of the moving path of the selector lever 2 in regard to the transmission gates to be shut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
