An alkali soluble epoxy resin composition is provided to improve storage stability of an alkali soluble epoxy resin, to increase viscosity of the alkali soluble epoxy resin, and to prevent gelation of the alkali soluble epoxy resin. An alkali soluble epoxy resin composition comprises (a) an alkali soluble epoxy resin, (b) a thermal polymerization inhibitor, and (c) high boiling point alcohol compound. The alkali soluble epoxy resin comprises an acid functional group and an epoxy group. The alkali soluble epoxy resin is prepared by polymerizing a monomer having an acid group, a monomer including an epoxy group reactive with the acid group, and a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond. |
