SECONDARY BATTERY PACK OF NOVEL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A secondary battery pack is provided to prevent the leakage of an electrode terminal of a battery cell to outside and to protect and insulate a protection circuit module by inserting and mounting a printed circuit board to an electrically insulative protection circuit module case. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery pack(900) comprises: a negative electrode and positive electrode terminal(120,110) which is electrically connected to a protection circuit module and consists of a plate-like conductive element; a battery cell(100) which has the negative electrode and positive electrode terminal respectively formed on side ends and a heat-sealed surplus portion(130) formed on the end part; a protection circuit module(500) which comprises a printed circuit board(200), an external input and output terminal(210), and an electrically insulative protection circuit module case(600) and is mounted on the heat-sealed surplus portion in a direction facing the upper part of a battery cell.
